He emphasized that the banking sector could significantly engage in the transactional aspects of cryptocurrencies, similar to existing payment methods like debit cards and Apple Pay. Bank of America has already secured several patents related to blockchain technology, indicating its preparedness to integrate crypto into its operations. However, the CEO did not comment on cryptocurrencies as investment vehicles.
